Our Inspiration
At Mom Honors, our initiative to start this blog was driven by our aspiration to nurture an inclusive and supportive space where mothers can openly share their stories, photos, and experiences. Our goal is to create a community overflowing with sisterhood, love, support, and guidance, not only for current mothers and those anticipating motherhood but also for those who take on the everyday role of motherhood by providing a village of support to children.

From c sections, to adoptions, to vaginal deliveries.
From carrying a child to term,
To loving one as an auntie with mommy concerns.

From miscarriages to still births,
From never being pregnant but raising kids to know their worth.

From wiping snotty noses, to nursing the whole house back to health,
For giving and giving and giving and continuously giving unselfishly of your self.
To jobs, to family, to friends and even making time to give to strangers too.

For being the back bone, the strong one, the courageous one even in your soft era days you stand true,
There is no greater love than the love that comes from with in you.

Phylicia Fant is a highly respected figure in the entertainment industry, known for her visionary leadership and adeptness at fostering connections across various platforms. In her role as the Head of Music Industry and Culture Collaborations at Amazon Music, she skillfully intertwines global synergy with profound cultural significance, cultivating partnerships that deeply resonate. Prior to her tenure at Amazon, Fant made significant contributions as the Head of Urban Music at Columbia Records and as the Senior Vice President of Media & Strategic Development at Warner Bros, earning accolades in esteemed publications for her remarkable achievements. Beyond her professional endeavors, Fant actively engages in philanthropy and holds positions on multiple boards and councils, driven by her passion for cultural empowerment. Additionally, she co-founded Mom Honors and established The Purple Agency, a dynamic hub for full-service public relations and lifestyle marketing. Her involvement in producing the OWN Spotlight Documentary "Eggs Over Easy" further showcases her commitment to amplifying empowering narratives. Fant's impact extends to serving on the board of Faith Moves Only No Fear Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to housing homeless mothers.
Markeisha Darden is a dynamic figure in the entertainment industry, known for her multifaceted roles as a Multi-hyphenate Entertainment Executive, Poet, and Real Estate Agent. With a diverse portfolio of accomplishments, she has established herself as a force to be reckoned with in both her career and motherhood journey. As the CEO of her own management company, Inspire1st Management and Consulting, Markeisha manages artists Jayla Darden and Tay B, as well as co-managing Tee Grizzley and being a member of the management team for Andra Day. Markeisha demonstrates her keen eye for talent and her ability to nurture artists' careers. Beyond her work in music management, Markeisha is also the Co-Owner of ei models and serves as the General Manager and Head of Client Relations for The Purple Agency. Additionally, she is the Co-Founder of the 1st Annual Inaugural Mom HonorsTM, an initiative dedicated to recognizing and supporting mothers. Through her non-profit Faith Moves Only No Fear Inc, she fulfills her motto of "Faith Moves Only, No Fear" by providing housing to homeless moms, embodying her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Markeisha Darden's unwavering dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to uplifting others serve as an inspiration to all who encounter her.

Founded by Markeisha Darden and Phylicia Fant, Mom's Honors is a platform committed to expressing gratitude and admiration for the exceptional mothers who inspire us with their journeys and triumphs. This annual prestigious celebration illuminates the remarkable achievements of all mothers, uniting influential members of the community and industry, alongside fellow mothers, friends, and aspiring young women, to acknowledge and honor their remarkable contributions. It establishes a memorable annual gathering that cultivates sisterhood and unity.
